So I have to say I have gotten a tad behind with this thing, the last time I wrote was NLCSO which was the end of July so I have a whole month to catch you guys up on. So I have started school and so far so good I am taking math, english 101, psychology 101 and biology 101, so no real fun courses there. But I really like my teachers they are so great and understanding to my state officer needs. So anyway after NLCSO we had livestock judging and then after that I went camping with my friend Hannah and her family. Then the monday after I got back from camping I got my wisdom teeth, I didn't wanna do it but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Then that same week we had safe tractor operators at the state fairgrounds and if ya'll saw me I looked like a chipmunk at that point. Even though I had just had my teeth out it was still a lot of fun Ben got third, Lance got second and Robbie got first, congradulations to all even though I just listed the top three though, you guys never are unable to amaze me there is no way I could do that contest. At my farm I get very limited tractor use I think they are afraid I am gonna brake it, but whatever cause I am a pro at the skidloader, so whatever works. So now we are updated to this past weekend, friday we all went down to state fair to scoop ice cream. However as you all witnessed hurricane Ernesto got the best of us and they decided to close down the fair at 6pm, so we closed down the ice cream booth early and checked out the commercial building, Kimmie last years state reporter and I got a picture with a toilet in the commercial building at one of the vendors stations on bathroom display and had a lot of fun. Saturday was Poultry and Dairy Judging, as well as Dairy Handlers and you guys did a great job. Then today we had a state officer meeting at the office to go over our workshops for fall leadership conferences. Let me tell you guys, you are in for a treat and we are ready for you guys, we are all excited to see you there. Next step is "Big E" and I am so excited, all who are going I know we are going to have an absolutely great time and I am looking forward to spending so much time with all of you on our long long long bus ride there. Well I have school in the morning as do all of you so I am gonna say good night, I'll see you all later. -Sara Kreh- MD State FFA Reporter

Hey Everybody, It has been a little while since my last live journal so I just wanted to tell you what I have been up to. Last week while Andrea, Cole and Mr. K were at States President Conference Kevin, Richard and I went to the Horse Judging CDE in Delaware were everybody did so well and for a lot of the kids they learned how to enhance there judging skills. This summer I have also been to the Environmental Science and Forestry CDE. Andrea, Alex and I went and we rode down with the Middletown FFA chapters (thanks guys), I learned a lot since I have never seen the forestry CDE before. Well now we are updated and this week we are at NLCSO or National Leadership Conference for State Officers. We have learned how to develop workshops and we have learned alot about some pressing ag. issues. This morning we did opening ceremonies for the first time as an officer team and they went really well we need some improvement, but we will deffinently be good by state convention. Tomorrow we have reflections I am tad bit nervous about but I know we will do great at them. Next we are off to Joint CTSO training. I'll talk to you all later. Sara MD FFA State Reporter

Today we had Region 2 Leadership at Frederick High School, it was so much fun! This was our first time interacting with the members as an officer team. We got to interact and meet a lot of people we didn't know and I got to talk to a lot of members that I haven't spoken to in a while. I took pictures of some of the games that we played and they were hillarious. The officers and the members learned a lot and had a lot of fun. We also got to do our first kinda of workshop type activity in front of the group, they seemed to like it, just I just hope they took something away from it. I had fun and I hope you guys did to and I am running out of things to say, even though I haven't written that much, but I guess I'll talk to you all later.

After our meeting yesterday at the office, it has finally kicked in. After convention it hadn't really set in yet, because we still had so much to do like finishing school and graduating. Oh, by the way all the banquets I went to were very nice and you guys did a great job with them I had a really good time. But back to my train of thought; well because of school ending and graduation, the state officer thing was there but it hadn't really set in yet. Yesterday we got our business cards and worked on some stuff for you guys and then we discussed the trainings. Which I am looking forward to going to Blast Off a lot more now after we had our meeting. I can already tell this is gonna be a great year and I am so excited to work with everyone. Alright well I am gonna go, I hope to see most of you guys this summer at judging contests. I am looking forward to meeting all of you so much, as we help you guys learn and hopefully embrace our new them, shatter, shake and communicate. Well bye all. Sara Kreh MD FFA State Reporter
